I have an 87 4 x 4 ranger with a 7.5 rear axle and a 1350 transfer case. My truck started having a vibration a week ago. I checked the brakes, tires and sloppy old rear end. I put seals and spider gears in the read axle a few years ago. The ring gear has some slop in it but I live with it. I drove it around after checking it out. The vibration went crazy!! I got under it yesterday. The rear driveshaft going into the transfer case had one bolt left and it was almost all the way out!! I removed it and found the output shaft bolt was finger tight. I just ordered three new 32mm lock bolts "2 spares". I will put a new seal and driveshaft bolts back in. I this a common problem or is someone trying to kill me?
