Isnt the Dodge Raider a rebadged Isuzu of somekind?

Or was a rebaged mitsubishi?

My dads buddy had an old trooper, like an 86. He traded a 87 S10 blazer for it. Compared to the blazer it was underpowered, hard to work on, and tippier then a nun after a shot of whisky.

It was well designed as far as the interior and shit went though, just not really much of as truck (he expected it to pull a 2horse trailer with 2 horses, his blazer handled it fine, the trooper not so much) he had it all of about 6 months, then the starter went out and he sold it and bougth a 89 Chevy 1/2ton.

What you just posted is absolutely hilarious. The Trooper's tippy tendencies are massively overblown. It's an SUV. Drive it like one and it's perfectly safe.

As to the power issues - the Trooper came with either a 4 cyl (2.6 if I remember correctly) or a 2.8 V6. Want to know where the underpowered 2.8 came from? Yep, it's a Chevy engine. The same one the S10 probably had in it. There were also a few diesel Trooper's, but I've never actually driven one.

Um, its alot tippier then a Bronco.

His trooper had a 4banger in it, with a 5sp. His Blazer had a 4.3L TBI.
