The reviews post right at the top here should help with selecting a decent kit (and knowing what to avoid).

If you go with a 6" lift, the only thing additional I would absolutely suggest you get is the Skyjacker pt # FA600 drop pitman arm, as the arm that comes with any such kit is too short to correct the steering properly (even 4" kits will benefit some with the Skyjacker arm, although the provided arm generally will work acceptably at 4" lift). Most kits don't come with extended brake hoses, so be sure to include those in your budget as well (around $100 or so for good stainless braided hoses. Check in the Tech Library however for some cheaper rubber hose options).

i'm looking to do the same thing for my '91. I've decided on Tuff county 4in lift and belltech 6400 shackles. with 1" washer spacers for the front. The TC kit comes with add-a-leafs and with the shackles i should get about 3" in the rear. and with a possible 5" in the front it should be good for 33's. The TC kit i found is $630 from Summit. You will need to get your own shocks. My total is $860 and that covers (Drop brackets, coils, add-a-leafs, Drop P-arm, radius arm brackets, shackles and shocks all around. and i think sway bar drop brackets. I wouldn't do a Rough Country lift cuz it will end up being the same price as everything i just mentioned, if you get the leaf springs, for less quality (kit not worth it too me)

I have a 91 and am strongly considering the rough country one. Inexpensive, fairly easy. Basic put 31's on

most people have seem to stray away from Rough Country mainly because of weak parts and some have had one of the drop brackets punch a hole in their differential...Tuff Country should be the choice for inexpensive
