Looking for some longer front brake hoses

I have a 99 ranger and the previous owners put 3in body blocks on it without replacing the brake hoses going to the front calipers with some that are longer.
Just had one stock size hose from before I owned it fail on me and stock size hose that I replaced the failed one with on the driver side pulls almost tight at full lock to the right.
Does anyone have suggestions on where to look for some aftermarket hoses that would work better for the 3 inch lift?

Check out speedwaymotors.com

They had what I needed when swapping the rear drum brakes for Mustang disks on my 2002 Ranger 4WD XLT.

Isn't the stationary end of the front lines connected to the frame?

A body lift should not affect the length of those lines.

Or am I missing something here?

Now that I think about it you are absolutly right. It has stock suspension, so it's strange the stock size brake hose on the driver side pulls tight when I turn the wheel fully to the right unless I'm missing something.

So is the rubber part of the line pulling out of the crimp?

Or is the rubber part just breaking near the crimp?

I wouldn't trust your replacement lines (unless NOS stuff) is the exact length or even of decent quality components used to make them.

There isn't much mechanically that will cause those to "over extend". Worn suspension bits... something bent...

Does this truck have the torsion bars cranked up to the max?

IDK how it happens, but I've noticed aftermarket hoses that were shorter before. No idea whether the one on the vehicle were factory or not. (Likely not)

Yeah, a body lift shouldn’t affect the brake hoses. Even cranking the torsion bars shouldn’t be enough to max them. Something isn’t quite right.

At any rate, measure them and you can buy aftermarket lines. My Choptop I ended up buying some stainless braided lines that ended up being almost ridiculously long, forget how they were recommended. Actually been leaning towards going to the stainless braided stuff for all of my trucks and apparently Fragola and some other companies make them in varying lengths.
