I've run into some issues with the hydraulic hoses.

I did a clutch job on this vehicle 8,000 miles ago. I didn't put locktite on the bolts for the flywheel. That loosened and I had rattling from it as all the bolts started to come out.
I bolted that back down and replace the 2 clutch pieces with new, but no the slave.

I know better, but I couldn't get the bell housing back on the engine so used the bolts to pull it in. That done, I move on to the clutch hydraulic hoses.
Had a horrible time getting them together and have since read that putting the tranny on as I did causes that.
Finally I was able to get them paired, but when I tried to bleed the clutch, the metal clip popped off.
Now I'm back to trying to get the hoses paired. I will bleed again and see if I can pair with that only.
If not I'm back to loosening the tranny to give me room to join the 2 hoses.

Now I'm afraid that the metal clip will not hold and wondering if there's an after market adapter fittings for the slave and master hoses?

Thanks for advice/help.
