I am having fitment issues with my steering shaft colliding with my headers after installing my 351 in the truck(1999 model year) any ideas of after market options?

What model headers are you using? I picked this up off of facebook.
P.S. I just noticed these below are earlier rangers, I am guessing your later ranger is different.
88 ranger 351w . Driver side header 67-72 mustang 351w passenger side 87-96 f150 302-351w header both made by hooker.. swap the steering shaft to a 89-92 ranger it gets rid of the top big rag joint . More clearance
Hedman 89500 is what I used I had to trim the frame a little for clearance

I used manifolds with 66 Galaxie ID numbers on the 351 in my 93 Ranger. I replaced the lower steering shaft and rag joint with one from Borgeson with a U joint in it. I think 289 Hipo manifolds would fit, too.
