Looking for clarity......

I have been digging through all the info on this site. And I can't seem to piece together the answer I am looking for. Putting an 302/AOD out of a 88 Crown Vic. I bought the trans dapt 9716 motor mount pads. My confusion lies in the motor mounts themselves. Am I to use the Mustang mounts or ones from an F150?

Upon more researching, I figured out which mounts to use.

Or explorer mounts work great in late model rangers or do what im doin get a piece of plate and poke some holes to match the ranger mounts

hmmm what year truck?


if its a ttb use just the stang or mark 7 mounts. send those back.


or use plates with the later trucks or ttb trucks with the v6 mounts.



theres two styles for the td i am familiar with, one is a spacer that uses a td 17 style mount the other is just a mount. the td 17 style is similar to the ttb 150 mount. i have used those with the spacer by modding a bit with a drill.

The truck is an 84, 2wd . These are the mounts I have.
