Looking for a V8 Explorer/Mountaineer

I'm looking for a V8 explorer/mountaineer for the engine swap into my 2001 Ranger edge. If anybody has one that runs, I need it. I don't really care about interior parts, just a running motor. I am in Tallahassee Florida and can travel to get it, if the price is right. It can be wrecked, rolled over or rusted, I just want a V8.

But I wasn't that impressed with it, especially for being that far away from you. You may just need to be patient and keep looking for a little while till the right one turns up.

I'm looking for something wrecked or junk title, all I need is motor/trans, harness, and whatnot. These are great buys but I'm a cheap ass and if I get a wrecked vehicle I can cut costs.

Those were the best options I could find. Keep in mind that you may be out more on the front end, but you'll have more to part afterwards if it's in decent shape.

They are asking 700 for the one I posted. You could probably get it for 500.00 or so. It is not going to get much better than that. I paid a 1000 for mine and made 750.00 back on parting it out. Plus get this one running and driving right while it is in the explorer and that way all the issues are worked out before you swap it in the ranger. Just saying. Going completely cheap on this swap is just going to cause headaches down the road in my opinion.
