that's going to cut down your options. 4k is a 90s ranger with a four cylinder here where i live. not that that is bad, its just not going to be a 2k or newer ranger. and it probably won't be an extended cab unless you get lucky.
you might get more luck offering it as for sale or trade for a ranger. i have gotten some interesting trade offers doing for sale or trade. nothing i ended up taking because its usually people trying to upgrade their vehicle so you are getting bad offers but every once in a while something nice will be offered

- Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
Some young kid would probably love to trade their "lame" ranger for a b-m-trouble you. Slap it up on Craigslist and marketplace and see what happens.
You should really take the BMW to Carmax or Carvana and see what they offer. Unless yours is a rust I bet you are undervaluing it in todays crazy market.
