I just rebuilt my carb and relocated a "electronic" fuel pump near the gas tank, now my needle will NOT stop the flow of gas into the carburetor float bowl.

The electronic pump is designed for carburetored motors. I had the electronic pump up by the old mechanical pump, it SEEMED to do okay, but since I relocated the electronic pump near the gas tank, it's forcing fuel out the carburetor breather holes! So I need to turn down the pressure, it's running around 9 p.s.i.'s and want to tune it down to 3-4 psi, or even lower.

I've read about those "cheaply" POS Chromed Spectre regulators, can anyone recommend a good fuel pressure regulator?

Aeromotive is the best one ive used... you can buy this one

http://aeromotiveinc.com/products-p...-regulators/13301-universal-bypass-regulator/

Its universal and comes with a carb spring and an injected spring it has boost reference and is real good quality ive used it on 2 turbo motors and 3 carbed V8s (the same regulator) so this is the one i would recommend... I picked mine up from summit for about 130 so it doesnt really break the bank
