was looking at a ranger tonight, didn't get to talk to anybody but it's a toredor red single cab, stick shift, and it looked like it had a lima in it, from what i could see from looking at the engine from underneath, and it had the IFS.

that said, would it be a 2.5 lima?

never had one of those, never drove a lima newer than 88, were they decent in the fourth gen trucks?

can i go down the highway at 75-80 in one?

u can go 90-100 in one.
yes its a lima 2.5

basically the sme old 2.3 lima, but with a bit more power.
its a good engine, considering the power a 4 banger gives.

If it's got the 3.45 gear, you might be disapointed. I had the same combo and sure didn't like those gears.

well, just picked it up.

it was a 2000, 2.5, so, i correctly guessed it was a lima block based only on looking at the crank pully (so, i am awesome)

400 a month, but it's a damn nice truck, and i like driving it.

i figure this way i come out ahead, because i was spending more than 400 a month keeping the 86's on the road.
