Im lookin to buy some new treads for my truck. Im on kind of on a tight budget but ive been looking at the super swamper LTB's because they seem pretty reasonably priced. Does anyone here have the LTB's. If so, let me know how good or bad they are.

i just took mine off they did great in the mud. wear like a normal superswamper on the road. what are you looking for a pure offroad tire or something that will do well on the road as well

Yea im lookin for somthin that will be decent on the road, but mostly for the trail. My last tires were BFGs m/ts which were good but the LTBs are heck of a lot cheaper.

i had the ltb tires on my DD, i wheel every weekend so i got a lot of trail use out of them. i realy liked them, they do alittle better than tsl just because the big lugs on the ltb stick out ferther on the side wall than the tsl tires, once my tsl go im going with the ltb again or boggers. you wont find a better tire for the price thats for sure.

i agree they do wonderful in the mud for the money. just be prepared to have to replace them quicker than a m/t. i got almost 20,000 out of them. i played it smart tho switched to my stock road tires on spare rims when i knew i would be driving alot. the 20 mins to change tires is worth more than trashing good mud tires on the road. if you want to do that might as well just burn your money.

what size LTBs were you runnin on your rigs. I want to get the 33x13.50 but im worried there might be some clearance issues.

i had 31x 11.5, i moved up to a 33x12.5 and they rubbed on the mud flaps

34x10.50s suck ass in the snow. There is no float.

the 13.50 aired down to 8 psi worked good in the snow for me.did blow a beed , but easy fixens.

I have the 33x13.50x15's on a set of weld super singles and they have been the best wearing set of super swampers that I have had. I think I got right at 40,000 out of a set. That was my second set. The ones I have now have about 15,000 on them and are a little over half thread. But they are terrible for the gas mileage. I think they are going bye bye though. I bought a set of 35x12.50x 15 Durango XTR's. They are radials and have a military type looking tread to them. I put the swampers on about a week ago and am goig to put the 35's back on tonight. But if the LTB's are what you want go for it.

I've got the 34x10.50s and love them. They get excellent traction just about anywhere.

I love my LTB's. For the price you can't beat them. In the mud they are excellent. Night and day difference between them and an A/T. On rocks they will shed large chucks of rubber because they are very soft and the lugs are very large. This is a small price to pay for a good off road tire for the price. They won't last long on the road, but again for the price who cares. If your really on a budget, ask your distributor if they can get a set of blems. You can save some money because of some purely asthetic problems.
