Lookey Lookey what I found!!!!

Yeah I remember seeing that guy on ebay before selling one of those. They usually pop up on ebay alot lately.

all i gotta say....is lookey lookey at that price

-MOST of them were used by fleet companies. they were like the little GM electric vehicle, they were out on like a "lease". once time was up, you had to turn them back in, but i remember a couple turning up in the news that went to court because they liked them so much they wanted to keep them. Ford didnt want any of them out there because the parts really expensive and it was basically a "test" the market" for them. but i do remember in those court cases, the customer was allowed to keep the truck. they are about old enough now to start needing replacement parts.....

I bet you couldnt tow anything with them, or carry much of a load.

Makes it useless in my book.

Are you insane????:no2: :no2: :buttkick:. That would be the cat's meow to own. That would be the perfect work commute vehicle, especially if the workplace has outside plugins(If the truck has 110v cord). Go to work, plug it in, do your 8 hrs, unplug and go home. Not a drop of gas in site.

As for the towing, electric motors in general have a very high torque output. I'm not saying tow a D-11 bulldozer with it, but I bet it could carry a few pounds.

Parts and such, ummmmmmmmmmmmmm, I suppose you would have to know an electrition rather than a mechanic.......

Wait, wait, wait.................... 64 MILE RANGE!!???! Woah, I did NOT see that the first time I read the ad. Work would have to be located pretty close then.

The charge units require a 240V @ 40A outlet for the controller. Additional controllers cost $1200. That is according to the seller at least.
