How about a 'Hanging by a thread' thread?

There is always a rusted pile of truck cruising around NJ, we salt the hell out of everything out here, and there are so many people driving that the roads are just filthy. I het I can contribute a good amount to a tread like that! I clean and paint everything under my truck, next on the list is pulling the bed and getting the top of the frame rails finished up. Winters are car killers out here. I saw a ranger at my buddies shop with 40k miles and the frame had HOLES IN IT. WTFFFFFFFFF???? haha

that image brings a tear to my eye, I got a b2 down near the ny border (about 30 minutes away) thats in the brush near a highway sitting and rotting, along with 3 other old ford trucks, very sad

That trucks not in as bad a shape as half the cars/trucks around me. I see old Toyotas and Nissan hard bodies that literally have no bedside due to rust, or i have seen several f150s whose rear shackle has rust off and slammed though the bed floor. Yet they still drive them .
