I have a 1996 ranger extended can and im wanting to make aa prerunner look on iit. Can you just buy longer i beams to extend the front wheels past the fenders?. I have heard of some people getting them cut and extended, I'm just wondering can you get longer beams and radius arms but use the stock spring setup? I need help!

You are wanting the wider stance with the beams and everything but are wanting stock ride height and spring set up? To be honest I dont know if its possible or not. I cant help but feel like it would look like crap though with the tires sticking out at stock height and stock fender flares. Do some searching on here and look at the tech library at the 2wd lifts. There are links to camburg and autofab who make prerunner lifts. When done right, it can look bad ass. It can be pricey though too.

Yup, it would look pretty ridiculous at stock height.

Kevin, one thing you'll probably learn quickly is that it takes a lot of effort to make your truck look right. Whether you lift it or drop it...you're gonna have to spend either time or money doing. If you're gonna go to the trouble of getting longer beams, why bother using the stock springs? Use the correct parts for the correct application. Don't half ass it! That's when you get some really fugly vehicles ;)

I did some reasearchand I have decided to do a 4in in the front and 2 in the rear with wider I beams and fiberglass fender flares and also 31s under it,what are some places that sell prerunner kits I'm having some trouble finding them, I'm looking at multible places to get prices and look at reviews

Look in the tech library under 2wd lifts. There is a link to camburg who makes some
