long tube headers

my truck is an 83 xlt with a 95 5.0 auto.i am looking for info if any one has found a long tube header that can be modified to fit this application with out almost starting from scratch.thank's ,ferg6221

Shelby Tri-Y long tube headers the pre 1970 ones if I remember correctly . I have them on my 1988 5.0 with a AOD I had to bend the pipes after they merged to clear the big AOD also kept burning the plug wire on cylinder 5 just cut the pipe at the flange and welded in two pieces to solve that problem. Also mine are off ebay there the same as the $500 one but only cost $130 shipped

thank's, it has tri y's on it now and i am to belive they or doug headers.i guess i will start from scratch and build my own.thank's again for the response.

Do you know if they would fit on a 94 with a c4 and a body lift?
