Long bed ranger question.

you will need to move the rear axil forward a few inches and then drill new wholes in the frame and chop the end of the frame off and slap the bumper back in

you can, but there'll be 6" of space between the bed and cab and 6 inches of frame between the tailgate and bumper...

So the frames are different. I'll just buy a short bed frame, and swap all my good panels to it minus the box.

Yep, different frame and wheelbase. Do a wood bed, or find a long bed.

--Edit--

Or you could do that.. haha, you posted just as I did.

Well i'm finishing up my 2.3 turbo rebuild. I'm going to make a little hot rod truck out of this ranger, and I need it to be short bed. They look more evil to me that way.--Jeremy

Very good idea, but I actually want to make this Ranger into a very clean, and strait example. Almost boring. Metal working is not my strong suit either.
