Lone Oklahoman?

Nothing planned as of yet. Would like to do one. Throw some ideas out there and lets get something rolling.

There are a couple of groups of locals (tulsa area) going out wheeling on saturday. One group is heading out to Disney and the other is going to chandler. I do not know any of the people personally, but both groups have extended invites to anyone that wants to go. Not sure which group I will be going with. That depends on my paycheck later today lol. Send me a PM if you want more info.

I thought Chandler was watched pretty heavy by police? Is that not the case?

Girlfriend and I went out around 209 over the weekend just to see what was out there. It had been years since I had been out there and it has changed a lot. Hardly any trees out there and one section looked like it had been flooded out more than a few times. It looks like crap out there which takes some of the fun away in my opnion. I know it is winter, but there was hardly any sign of any grass or trees like it used to be. We didnt go far though and didnt get to stay long.

I remember back when it looked like this:

Whats out in Chandler, other than Sparks?

Someone somewhere made a map of Chandler park but I can't tell you who did or where I found it. I've never been out there but have looked at arials of it and talked to people and it seems like there is a nice little network of trails that vary in difficulty.

I would like to go to Disney if I had a truck capable of it but have heard they have some pretty hard trails.

I just need bigger tires, and a locker. I'm ready to go play.

I'm probably K-trail ready tho.......

I want to do K-Trail bad. It seems like fun.

Is it time to open a K trail discussion again?

I'd vote sometime in April or early May.

Country, The Chandler they are talking about is Chandler Park between Tulsa and Sand Springs. As far as I know it is closed. I know people still go there but that doesn't do anyone any good with everything they keep trying to close. Need to be respectful and examples of good citizens not lawbreakers out tearing shit up like some of the public thinks.

I wasn't aware that chandler park was private property as I had never been out there before. After reading up a little bit on the place, I would not want to go out there. I'm sure its a great place for wheeling and it is close to me, but it is private property. I could care less about the police handing out tickets, impounding vehicles, etc. I just wouldn't go out there without permission from the land owner simply out of respect for their private property. Just because you CAN get in doesn't mean you SHOULD go. I went out there a few days ago just to scope it out and there were ” No trespassing” signs posted at every entrance. Also, there were dirt and rock barricades built up at some. Obviously the owner doesn't want anyone in there.

It's private property? I didnt know that. I always thought it was public land.
