Did some upgrading to the 358W Ranger over the last few weeks. Short list...Holley 750 dual feed, regulator, 3.55 gears (old's were 3.23) and dropped to 26" tires.

All I can say....holey crap!! It ran awesome before but now it's wicked!! A mere tap of the throttle will start the tires spinning. Not bad considering I'm planting nearly 21" of rubber on the ground. In the 45 miles of driving I managed to keep the inner child under control MOST of the time. I did a few rolling burnouts...just gliding along in first at about 20mph then stand on it would start it spinning to redline, nail 2nd and it would keep'em spinning until it redlined again. I still have not done a standing still holeshot...I figure "why bother", the radials can't hold the pavement while moving. So today I'l throw on the 26" ET Streets and get it ready for the opening weekend at the track. Hoping for low 13's this time.

The only other upgrade I'll be making is a set of Total Performance long tubes and bigger pipes...that will really let this baby breath!! It's still choking through the mani's and 2" pipes to the Flowmasters and 2.25" tails.
