Locked out

I've done it multiple times with success. It's not as speedy as it looks in video, because every time it takes relocating something then your golden.

Hmmmm.... There must be multiple methods out there. I'm not allowed to speak of my method on here, already got in trouble once. One method is as speedy as it looks and requires no set up, no "relocating" of anything.

i can break into anything, except maybe the pope-mobile. just cant be afraid to break a little glass :)

I keep a magnetic key box with a spare key inside of my rear bumper. Have had to use it twice for locking my keys in. Been doing it for years with no trouble.

Of course the NRA sticker on my back window surely keeps any snoopers away from my truck.

The NRA sticker makes snoopers hope you left your piece under the seat when you went into the school to get your kids for their dental appointment. Nobody's afraid of those things. There's a house near here with a sign that says "We don't call 911." That's a little better because the sign is hand painted and the house...well, yeah. I think the dog tied to the trailer actually moves the trailer when it lunges for the postman.

My method of never locking the keys in--drum roll--is to never lock the doors. A car is mostly glass. Glass can be broken quietly. My stereo was $100 new. Take the shit and go. I should leave a 20 in the console they they can at least go away thinking they got something out of it and not take it out on the seats with a knife.

You can't protect your truck if you park it on the street. Alarm? Big deal. You get less sleep. Better to get a good night's worth and call the cops in the morning than get woken up. On nights when it looks clear, leave the window down a little so they can get their arm in--just in case they think about busting the window before trying the handle.

Don't leave guns in the car, that's unforgivable. You don't want to arm a shitheal.

ever since i found out my fuel inertia switch acts as a kill switch, im not woried about someone stealing my car, plus i have a factory tape deck(had aftermarket CD when i bought it) plus i dont keep anything in there worth stealing.

as for anti theft, i wana locate a ranger with a/c heater control panel, for the stock ac switch to wire as a fuel cutoff switch, and another hidden switch wired to either parking brake/neutral position switch on the tranny linked to my horn, incase they try to push it on a trailer and put it in neutral(people have stolen cars using trailers out here)

The info can be found anywhere, why they choose to censor it here is beyond me. BFD. Censorship never solved anything.

You should remove this info, you're teaching thieves how to steal our precious rangers.

I have never heard an issue. I'm sure it depends on location. There are massive threads about this very thing elsewhere. I have noticed some people tailgating me then backing off. I'm not sure if it's the sticker or not.

i tried your method before the post was removed, it didnt work for me. no matter, i never lock the damn thing. i even removed the relay for the power locks so the doors didnt accidently get locked on the way out. i modified the ignition some time ago, twist & go. youve heard of keyless entry? ive got keyless ignition. no worries though, ive got a locking gas cap (thats actually functional and locked) so you could actually steal the whole truck (if you relized you dont need a key) but your going to have to work a little bit to steal fuel from it or put gas in it if you steal it and intend on going very far. i have a stock factory radio (if it was any more anti-theft, it would be a 8-track) absolutly nothing in the glove box. probly the most valuable thing left in the truck is the 4 way lug wrench stored between the spare tire & the bedside. all in all, id rather someone opened the door & find nothing to steal vs breaking a window then find nothing to steal.

PM me an I will give a easy method.

spare? shit i dont even have a door key,... of course i park my truck on base or in my buddies backyard,... my rear slider has a broken latch so if i do go somewhere that i feel i need to lock the doors i just reach in through that and pop the latch

I don't have to worry about locking myself out of one of my trucks....

The first thing I do when I get a newly used truck is to go out and get some keys cut - four full sets. I carry two sets on me (one in each front pocket) for whatever I'm driving on a given day, I have a set stored in the house, and I give my parents a set (they have no need to drive my stuff, but since my dad is retired and always around if somehow I managed to get stranded somewhere with my truck and no keys, he's liable to beat AAA there).

All these people that run around with only one set of keys... seriously... they're not that expensive, get a spare or three.

And whatever you do, DO NOT (let me say this again... DO NOT!) leave valuables in your vehicle. I speak from experience.

Thieves are getting bolder, locking your doors and sticking an NRA sticker in the back window are no longer deterrents. Locks are to keep honest people honest, nothing more. The best way to protect your stuff is to have a couple large dogs with big teeth and be a light sleeper.

alls locking gas caps:badidea: will do is force them to crawl underneath with a screw driver and a drain pan:bawling:.plastic tanks puncher real easy and silently:secret:

it would still cause a little inconvience.

I'll just leave this here:
