Locked my keys in...

Where are those danged keys? I looked for 20 minutes - at least they weren't locked in!

My wife does that with the house keys. You dont know how many times I have come out in the morning and my keys are in the door. Drives me nuts.

I left my keys in the freezer once. I have NO idea how they got there but I turned the house upside down looking for them. My Honda has one of those "intelligent keys" and I only have one as the spares are $65 or something. "Intelligent key," "Stupid driver."

how about the antennae trick? its saved my butt once when i was out of town and locked my keys in the truck.

My keys are dangling from the ignition 24/7 and it's never locked. If you use it, just leave it where you found it and put some gas in it. If it leaves you stranded, please take off the license plate.

happened to me last week, the ol lady was driving it and left keys in ignition and her purse in the truck which had the spare key in it my stepdad works for a towing company so i had(past tense) a slim jim hidden in the truck (a 10 sec operation) ended up getting through with a coat hanger through the slider window (about a 15 second operation)

I think I may have posted this before but this is all you need to prevent your slider from being unlatched from the outside. Just stick something in the track.

last year on my way to NJ I locked my keys in my 89 F150 at a gas station. I found out that the slider glass wasnt glued to the metal latch piece appearing locked it slid right open.

LOL i hear ya there i locked mine inside once which is bad cause i am a security officer lol so i see people breaking into cars all the time lol i had to open my sliding back window (thank god i could reach the ignition lol) and it took me a half hour to pop the window open breaking two pocket knives lol

My 95 ranger has the old style back window so it securely locks but i am still trying to find a better way of keeping it locked

haha, i remember once my buddy locked his keys in his explorer when we around 100 miles away from our home town...it was late at night and we couldnt get ahold of any tow truck driving company's or anything to get his door unlocked...so we looked around in my rig for anything that we could use to get into his rig.

we ended up using a shovel to prop his door open, and the small half of a fishing rod to push his automatic unlock button....worked out pretty good, haha

i had to go to court to fight a ticket i got and when i got done with the court i realzied i lock my keys in the car and had to slim jim the car in a police station with cops watching me do this and they never said a word to me thank god!!!!!

so far i have locked my keys in 3 times first time left them on the seat took out the window seal and used a coat hanger about a minute to unlock. second time i was fishing and left the keys on the seat again i left my window cracked open so i put a lure on and fished the keys out took a bit to get the keys to bite but got em. third time left the keys in the ingnition and learned about the antenna trick lift the handle on the truck take your antenna stick it in the rear slot of the door handle and jiggle came right open about 30 seconds for me. i need to make another key just dont feel like it.
