Does anybody know where if at all I can buy just the shear pins and springs for a lockright? I just got my D35 back and I went to put it together, and realized I can't find them. :annoyed:

I thought they were available from Powertrax directly since they can and do shear for some people.

I checked out their site already, I guess I'll look a bit more thoroughly...

You might try calling Powertrax directly too. if nothing else, I bet they could give you a special order or something.

I emailed them, we'll see what happens. Thanks guys.

Call 864-843-9275.

That's tech/product support.

Jim I called and their office hours are Eastern time of course, so It'll be difficult for me to get ahold of them. I figured e-mail is the next best.

You could always make some pins out of a long 1/4" grade 8 bolt and find the correct springs at a hardware store..

That's not a bad idea since I have 2 extra springs laying around from the rear that I could match them to.... I'll see how much they want when they get back to me.

I wouldn't. Those pins have to be hardened in some way. They will have what you need. Always better to call. I'm always looking for weird parts and I always find the person on the phone is much more helpful and responsive than the one on the keyboard.

you may be able to find some hardened steel dowel pins that will work if you cant find the right part...

I've had them send a customer new pins before.

I'll try to call them on my lunch break tomorrow, or it'll have to wait til Monday when I'm not working. Damn, i want to put that axle together!

call randy's ring and pinion and see if they stock them..

They don't sell them from the Manufacturer, but apparently Summit has them. I'll check to see how long it will take for them to be shipped, and check Randy's if I need.
