Hi

I have a 96 ranger that im in the process of redoing and I have some rust above the front windshield.

I have run about three beads of caulk in the space and Im still leaking

Is there anyone local that can assist me with windshield removal and replacement ?

If not, can anyone advise on how difficult it is to remove the windshield or should I let a profesional do it ?

Thanx !!

knowing guys who have done any ford windsheild, let a pro do it. from what ive heard it a bitch if u dont know the tricks

wirebrush it, clean it off and either A. goto a pro and have them do the work, or B. use an apoxy resin (not cualk) to fill in the gap, or just weld a piece of metal there, buy some of that tool "grip-dip", and poor it on there.

I'm in McKees Rocks just outside Pittsburgh. if you just need an extra set of hands and drive up here I can probably help out but i have no idea what I'm doing with windshield replacement....
