Good afternoon all, just had some questions about my liscence plate lights. I got a rollpan and it came with a light (attached image below), how should I wire it to my existing light? Thanks.

Grey is +, black/grey is minus. If your new light is not metal and is not mounted in metal, then it will not matter which wire goes to which. If it does have a metal socket and will be mounted in metal of the truck, then take a meter and figure out which wire on the new light has continuity to the metal part of the socket. The one that does will the the ground which is the black/grey.

Cut your old light wire so you can use the original Ford plug to hook it up.

Thanks, I got it all wired up and it works!
