only place in town that might have them isn't open on a sunday.
might experiment on making my own bolts , not sure yet. will post pics of lift blocks when i get them.
well so far my new tranny is everything i hoped for, all i done was a shift kit and low stall torque converter. just put new/used rubber on today with a little more height and better traction up frontso what's the progress with the tranny?
now i can have fun, when i'm not fishing that is.WHAT?? YOU THINK FISHING ISN'T FUN?
NO!!!
good info, i had 305/70/16's which worked out to 32.8 or 33'si always use this to convert metric tire sizes
http://www.therangerstation.com/tech_library/Metric_To_Inch_Tires.html
315/75/16 = 34.6" so you threw some 35's on there, what'd you have before?
thanks, gotta ask ya, how do you quote someone from another thread and post it into whatever thread you happen to be responding to? for example i noticed that you quoted me in particular from a thread dealing with some gal wanting to trade her truck for a firebird. i'm glad it was quote worthy, i've just recently figured out how to multi-quote in the same message but it is driving me insane [and i just don't have enough to smoke, just kidding]that i can't figure it out. as to the question on older fords, they're out there if you can find someone who wants to part with them, otherwise there is always the junkyard. sometimes you can find reasonable deals where you can pick-up a bare shell, no motor/tranny, for cheap up to a couple grand for something that still moves but may need motor or whatever. you just have the time to look [and the patience]. there is all kinds of F150 stuff up here but i'm F250 so that don't do me any goodLookin good man... I love those old fords...
Do you have any idea why they are so hard to find? The old chevy's are a dime a dozen every where. Even on like ebay there is usually way more of the 70's chevys. There are virtually none of the 70's fords locally near me. Plus the shortbeds seem much more rare then the chevy ones too.![]()

i'll have to give it a whirl and see what comes upYeah I put that quote in my signature from that thread from Trucksgetdirty. That was some hilarious shit!!!
I don't know how others do it, but the part I wanna quote, I just push the "quote" button on the original post, then I highlight it and copy it. Then I go to edit signature in the User CP and paste. Make sure you include all the brackets and what not, or it will not work. Like my quote on my last post, it did not work.
