Well.... I plugged the german shepard sized hole in my roof.
Took me half the day to get my partly glued in sunroof frame
out of the roof without bending the sheet metal too badly.
Then another THREE FRIKKIN HOURS to get the old weather
strip off the replacement sunroof frame.
Then fifteen FEET of 3M heavy duty foam mounting tape, that's THREE 5foot rolls at $6 a roll.
(two layers so I'd get more "Squish" when I tightened the clamp screws)
Atleast this foam tape I can trust to stay stuck to stuff, UNLIKE the urethane windshield adhesive I used last time.
But the sunroof frame is in.
Now it's all dark and cold outside and I need to adjust the hinges on the glass panel so the glass closes correctly
Right now the hinges won't come unstuck from the glass so I can adjust them and I decided that being cold, tired & hungry AND prying a metal hinge off a piece of glass it's glued to with a screwdriver is probably a bad idea...
Either that or dig around for another glass panel that is already adjusted correctly. (Not Bloody Likely)
Then I can go find another headliner so riding in my truck doesn't sound like flying in a ww2 combat aircraft. (no soundproofing)
