lights/chime

hi as i was flowing the rewire in tech i saw you can put a switch to turn off and on the chime. i would like to do this. i don't know where the chime module is or witch wires i have a 94 ranger 4.0 4x4. thank you for all your help and the tech.

its located under the dash, exactly under the little ash tray.

yup like he said its like a little black box, under the dash, under the ashtray. i took mine out, just un hook it and pull it out.

dont mean to thread jack but if i take out the box does it also cut out my light?or just the dinging sound?
