I have been looking for a lightbar for my ranger, and have found that they only have lightbars for the explorer. My question is will a lightbar for a 2001 explorer fit the same year ranger with a gutterless mount kit ? I just wana be able to bolt it on and go. Thanks

Well if youre bolting it on anyway, whats it matter? Just get it and put holes everywhere. It'll look real nice when you get sick of it 3 years later and want to take it off. Just put them on the bumper

im thinkin bout it but i live in the city, and just parking at a store parking lot i have to worry about people letting their shopping carts hit my truck, and i dont need them hitting the lights and breaking them, thats why i would rather have a roof mounted lightbar

The glare from roof mounted lights will make you wish you had broken ones on the bumper instead.

for the hella 500ff that i had on my front bumper, it took a bit of force to break them. my room mate broke his, but he rammed his toyota into a shopping cart at 45 one night. unless the person runs the cart at your truck at a good speed, they won't break. if you're worried still, look into lightforce lights, and check their videos out on youtube. shotgun to the lens and they still work.

Check out Ebay. Just google it and I have seem a lot of places that seel the gutter mount light bars....several styles and colors and polished stainless ones too.

I don't think a shopping cart could even get to the lights on my grilleguards. They are set back enough from the brace they are mounted on.
