I have a 1993 Ford Ranger XLT, 4x4, with a manual transmittion.
Ever since I remember I have been having issues with the truck. Whenever, I start turning around a curve, I start hearing some popping noises up front until I straighten out again. I do have some large tires on my rig, and Sky Jacker's 6in., suspension lift kit installed.
It does have auto locking hubs but, I'm thinking it could be the bearings. This happens on both sides, corresponding to the way I'm turning. I did notice there is some sort of rubber seal showing behind the rotor on both sides. Could it be just rust? Wheel bearings? Or just something else. Any ideas.
