If you don't want a ridiculously stiff ride you can re-index the torsion bars. This was something I read about when working on a b2200. You mark the factory location where the bar goes into the control arm then turn and re insert. This method (if it works on these trucks) is supposed to make the ride stay the same just at a taller height.
Then shackle the rear followed by an alignment.
