Lifting my 97

Andrew........ go get some egged shafts...........

2884_95587893454_513533454_2668074_4201824_n.jpg

egged shafts are somewhere in the green bucket aka the "broken pile"

And then how about some more wheeling!!!

These power lines are legal to wheel on. I am in a club and our club is a member of an organization that has worked very hard to secure permission to use this and other properties for recreational purposes. Thanks for looking.

Killer pics! looks like a fun place to wheel.

I see your still sporting the one chrome wheel :icon_twisted:

Were you out there by yourself? What if you get stuck?

Oh, thats right, your in Ford, getting stuck wont be a problem.

I was out there with a YJ and an XJ which you can see in the background in this picture.

ssw080.jpg

XJ = open diffs, 33s
YJ = locked front, 33s
Ranger = Locked f/r, 35s, winch

Doh!

I see now. That's funny, because the only people I have to wheel with have almost those same setups...people and their silly Jeepers. :D

That's a lot of pictures, all good quality too. Looks like fun. That's also a pretty creative idea you had for the radius arm bracket sliders. So how'd they work out?

I have a couple caps starting to spin in the axle shafts........ we will see how the tack welded C clips hold up.

The radius arm tab sliders worked out pretty well. They need to be wider to completely protect the tabs there as one is slightly bent from where it was before the trip out.

My beefy drive shaft got its first good hit too. Thats a pretty good gouge.

Some how I managed to waste the inner plastic fender.

I have a power steering leak to take care of.

The brake function on my winch is not functioning.

Awesome pics/vids, man. Nicely done on the sliders.

oh, thanks again for the bumper

ugh... clutch is fine, but I snapped input shaft on the transmission... going to the dealer, glad I got the 100k warranty, hopefully it'll be covered. Gotta take of the 35's first.
