Its actually a 96 motor going into a 97 but its not that much difference.

So I tore into the truck some more today.

Thats 38 spot welds! And two son of a bitch body mount bolts.

went through that when i had to replace mine on my 93 after it kissed a f-150, it was fine but rust in the same spots...i hate NY lol

The motor or the core support? The motor hydrolocked and the core support was almost completely rotted around the front body mounts. Also, one of the radiator supports was no longer "supporting"............
