Lifters

I'm sure I am about to get destroyed for this question both due to the fact that I am a mechanic and have been dealing with Rangers for quite some time but here goes..... Will the lifters from a 3.0 work in a 4.0?

Yea I just got the 3.0 at work torn down and I feel like a complete idiot for even asking, considering the fact that the 3.0 is not an OHC engine.... I deserve a swift kick in the rear for asking that question in the first place.... I will go put my I'm with stupid (arrow pointing up) shirt on now....
