When I purchased my B2 I knew it had a blown head gasket, then I found out it also has cracked heads. So no biggie I purchased a 84 F150 with a 302 4speed manual transmission and transfer case. Swap is coming together I have 7" lift (3" body/4" Suspension), Super Swamper TSL SX 36x12.50 R15 tires. truck is pretty clean but it will be a work in progress. I will post pics of it with 33's, with the new 36's and the donor F150. If anybody is interested in the 9" posi readend or the dana 44 TTB, or even the cleal rust free, dent free doors, holla and I will sell them cheap, because she will be at the crusher as soon as I can strip what I need!!! 864-238-4749. Anyways I hope to have the project on the way very soon and will be updating pics as I go.

B2 when I first got it 33" TSL's

Looking forward to the rest! That's a really good looking Bronco

do yourself a favor and put the 44 and 9in in your bronco, the stock wimpy axles are about to explode just sitting there

I plan on putting a dana 44 and ford 9" out of a early 70's cracker box bronco as soon as I get everything functional with the v8 swap. I will prob get a rear drive shaft put in with the stock axles (carolina drivelines $150) so I can test things out, but this is the biggest project I have ever done really so I gotta do some more research before I would feel comfortable with the axle swap. I have really only played with foxbody mustangs before, then I traded for a 90 suburban lifted 16" on 40's but it was a real POS, so then I traded for this bronco 2 and it is prob my favorite truck so far (tuff call between it and my 04 Escalade 2500, but its for a different type of fun lol). But anyways not that you needed my vehicle life story or anything, but I still feel like I know just enough to get myself into trouble lol!!!

Well I have been slowly making progress since I can only work on it on the weekends : (

I pulled the motor out of my donor and Im almost 100% sure that it is a 351 and not a 302 (should have paid more attention but I think it will still work out ok!). Picture blow after pulled and pressure washed, haven't had a chance to crack her it open yet but I plan on adding a cam, headers, msd ignition, and maybe a few other goodies.

Here is a picture of my old 302 from my 84 mustang gt, and the biggest reason I was pretty sure it looked alittle big to be a 302 (wide intake manifold, indention for the distributor and the triangles above the freeze plugs.

I also put my new mirrors and removed the tire carrier off of the back (Next week I plan to use body filler to cover the carrier holes). It was sunny today so I took some fresh pics!

JD steering stabilizer going in next week and planning to crush my donor with metal prices and $16.50 a hundred to help fund my project further. May do a few other things if I get around to it.

If anybody knows anything about the differences with a 351 swap I would appreciate some insight, Anyways until next time...:icon_welder:
