ok so i wanna do the explorer leafs in back and coil spacers or whatever up front is there andything i have to do as in make anything longer or can i just instal the leafs and spacers and be done?

oh and does anybody know how to take the gauge cluster out of a 84 cause i have taken all the screws out but it still is stuck in there and wont come out

They cost around 80 with tax and usually available at napa. You need them or your tire will get trashed quick.

On the cluster did you remove the speedo cable?

ok looks like i will need to save up money. and it wont even come out far enough to after removing all the screws it only moves out at most 1/8th inch

im not sure how to remove it, I just know you do. when i went to change a bulb, i never knew how to take the cable out so it just put it back together and didnt waste anytime trying to fix it.

yea i have no lights for my gauges and i have a blue light i bought from walmart and i got pulled over lastnight for no lisence plate lights and when the officer walked up the first thing he said was the blue light is illegal so i need to fix the lights or he is gonna give me a ticket and he game me a fix it before i drive at night again ticket so when i fix it i have to go show the officer

can anyone help me on how to get my gauge cluster out of my 84 base model

w/ all the screws out, you should be able to pull it enough to get your hand to the back of it... IF not.... find where the speedo cable comes up from the floor/firewall to the dash and try to get some slack in it.

yea i cant pull it out more than an 1/8th inch, so i will try and find the speedo cable from under the dash thanks

Yeah, you gotta get the speedo cable out or you can't pull the cluster out more than about 1/8". Reach up under the dash, find the cluster and the cable, then find the little tab on the cable collar and push it down while pulling back.

As to your lack of lights, did you check the fuse? Sometimes when one of those bulbs burns out the damaged filament will fall just so that it lays and shorts the whole circuit and blows the fuse.
