lift virgin... HELP!

How about just buying a old duce and a half?? Cheap tough 6wd and run on almost any fuel u get ur hands on.... I drove one.... totaly awsome..... The turning radius is that of a aircraft carrier, but if u cant make the turn just run the s*it over and keep going lol!!

ill save you some cash im running the same truck and ive got 34 10.50 16 TSL Swampers on a stock ranger with cranked bars and the only time its rubbed was when i had a heavy chevy behind me and i was snatching the piss out of him to get him out of the mud. bent my trailer hitch til the ball points backward instead of up. the tires tuck the fenders fine on my stepside bed. granted most people arent concerned about flex in SC. its pretty flat but it still gets its workout in places. id crank the bars add a body lift and 33s or 35s thats wht i have and ive yet to need a suspension lift even in the mountains of north georgia and use your money to fab a nice bumper and add a winch thats the one thing i wish i had was the winch when wheeling

does it matter what i take the leafsprings out of?
is there a preferred set?
is there a differance between front and rear leaf springs?
and do i need to modify them at all? or just the mounts??
oh and i can use a body lift AND leaf springs right?

do let anyone convince you that leafs are easier to do an SAS. you will never get the smooth ride that you will be looking for and it takes just as long to do the SAS. many guys on here that have done a leaf spring SAS wish they used coils and i know of one who was talking about swapping from leaves to coils.
you can also get more flex out of a radius arm suspension with coils. it also looks alot cleaner not having some nasty drop shackles hanging from the frame.
