Our race truck runs 285/75R16s (33s) on stock wheels with a 3" body lift. We have bigger torsion bars (from a v8 explorer) and a little more arch to the spring, but at the end of a race, the springs are about stock height and it doesn't rub a bit.
We don't have any inner fenders in the front, but I'm not sure if that matters.
For everyone's reference, we are required to use stock arms, torsion bars and stock length rear springs and shackles. We tend to push the limits of what fits and what doesn't so it is a good reference point.
