ok im doin the sas on 89 ranger. got dana 40 and ford 9". i knw that 79 f150 3" lift coils lift the ranger 6". ive got 2 blocks in the rear. ranger block and f150. but i wm thinkin about buying lift blocks instead. now my question is if i go and buy them for the f150 will 3" blocks give me 6"? i dnt think it will. i think id have to buy 6" lift blocks. am i correct? thanx

exploder 4-door springs, belltech chevy drop shackle and maybe a 1 inch block, don"t stack them please or your putting yourself and other in danger and also the taller the block the more axle wrap you have, if you are already talking about blocks, you sas kinda scares me:sad:

f-150 and ranger blocks are the same but i believe the f150 blocks are 3inches wide vs the rangers 2.5 inch wide

chevy springs lift more than explorer springs.. its in the tech library.. might be able to get away with doing that instead.

yep f150 blocks are wider. but anywho. i didnt like the block stacking idea. thats why i was gona buy lift blocks so it was 1 block. but id rather have no block if i can. ive already got explorer leafs on it. im gona have to look into that drop shackel. thanx any other thoughts are great.

you can get beltech 6400 drop shackles for a chevy that lift it 2inches an 6300 that lift it an inch.
