Lift springs or coil spacers?

I'm doing a 302 swap in my '93 ranger xlt. I'm starting off by raising the front end 2" to accommodate the heavier engine and to level the truck out a bit. A 2" front lift would level the truck out with the engine that's in it (3.0) but I need to know if I should do coil spacers (leveling kit) or lift springs. Either way would be a 2" lift but which is better? I'm talking durability, how long they last ect. The leveling kit I'm looking at is from supreme suspensions and costs about $50. (http://supremesuspensions.com/product/1980-1996-ford-f150-ranger-front-lift-leveling-kit-2/) The springs I'm looking at are superlift 128's and go for $90ish on summit. Both are about the same work to put in and I know I'll need to align the front end after its lifted. Also will I need longer shocks? Or will my existing ones work? I plan on replacing all 4 the same time I do the front lift.

If your current springs are in good shape, spacers will probably be fine. If the springs show any signs of age (sagging, heavy rust/peeling finish), then replacing them might be a better idea,

My recommendation would be Skyjacker's pt# 132x leveling coils. Stock (length) shocks should be fine. With the added weight of the engine you probably won't be that much higher than your original stock height with the leveling lift or coils anyway (maybe 1" higher at the most).

What he said. If you are going with spacers, they are inexpensive and effective.
