Hey everyone! I own a 09 ford ranger 2wd no torsion bars 4.0 v6. So...I know I want a 3' lift, suspension lift to be exact. So what kits and what parts do I need exactly(besides shocks all around) for this job. Kits or parts wat ever is recommended is highly appreciated thanks everyone!

Other than a body lift, I don't think there is much in the way of options for a non-torsion bar Ranger. Check out the TRS Store, if it exists, it will be listed there with a link to who sells it. There is a menu bar at the top of the page. The link to the store is there. If you are on a phone, I believe it's listed on the menu on the top left.

I don’t think anyone makes a 3ft lift kit. That’s a lot! ;missingteeth;

4” kits are more common. I would recommend Duff or Skyjacker.

Spindle lift is the only option for the front, I've seen them in 3", 4" and 5" but they aren't cheap (around $400 for a quality pair). Make sure they are ABS capable. You won't need different shocks for the front, only extended brake lines. Rear is easy, just use blocks and or shackles. Longer shocks will be necessary for the back as well as extending the center brake line and moving the parking brake cable hanger a bit.

Neither make a lift for a 2wd coil spring 09. :icon_thumby:

Maxtrac is the only decent set I've seen. There are some cheaper off brands on fleabay but they look pretty sketchy and spindles are not a part you wanna gamble with.

I missed the 2wd detail. Oops.

my general rule of thumb is; lift 4x4’s and lower 2wd’s

But but.... pre-runners are cool!

With 2" you can just do coil spacers but it'll never align perfectly and will ride harsh.
