I have a 2002 Ranger 4x4. I put a 3" body lift and 33x10.50 tires on it. The tires are wearing down and i want to be able to fit 12.50's but im afraid they might rub. I have already cranked the torsion bars but im not sure if i might be able to go a little more with them. Anyone have any suggestions for getting an inch or 2 of lift for cheap? Thanks,

Wyant

you wont get any more lift out of the front end unless you buy a lift kit. the rear end you could get extended shackles.

you can fit 12.5 with no problem

If you buy longer grade 8 bolts and throw em in you can torque the t-bars about an inch farther than stock bolts. What I did. I think my tires are 11.5in though

You didn't say what wheels you have but with a 3" body and 15x8's with 3.75" backspace, 33x12.50's will fit fine.

I had to get 1in extension to run my wheels. rigged up offroad had a great deal on em.

Alright Thanks guys i think i will just make sure i have the t bars as cranked as they can go and then throw the 12.5's on if they rub they rub. I hear Coopers are American made so i think ill go with the Discover STT. Although i was looking at the specifications and they say they require a 8.5 to 11 inch rim width and mine is a 15x8 so im not sure about that, anyone know?

That would be bad. Don't do that. Just crank them enough to make the truck level.
A 8" wide rim will be fine.

yeah dont crank them up for everythign thing they got, you will have no down travel in suspention anymore, (you truck will skip and chatter over everything)and will wear out your CV's or risk snapping them pretty easy. from the angle they will be at, at all times.

I run 12.50 tires on a 7 inch rim with out any problem just for your info.
