i have a 96 ranger with a 8 inch skyjacker lift if i put the 6 inch drop brakets on an keep eveything else the same will I gane any more flex an a better alingment?

You will gain better alignment for sure (and better handling). Better flex would probably depend somewhat on dynamics, although the lower CG might help some as well.

Is your Ranger a Supercab? If not, you'll likely need to swap to 6" coils as well to get your camber to where it can be aligned (maybe run a small spacer with the 6" coils if you still have some leeway in your camber bushings).

My truck is not a super cab im running james duff radius arms an was told that there only good for about 6 iches of lift

Swap to 6" SJ coils and 6" axle brackets (you might even be able to just drill new holes on your existing brackets 2" up), and keep the pitman arm that came with your 8" lift, and you should be in good business then. :icon_thumby:

Im going to shop around an see if i can find a used set there expensive a hell from skyjacker
