I was wondering about lifting my 95. I had to order body mount bushings to replace a missing one. My question is I want to lift it but not sure if I want a body lift or suspension lift. I thought while I was under there replacing it I might as well as put a body lift on (Just don't like the looks of them) I just don't have the money to do a suspension lift yet but want one.
Can I run a BL and a suspension lift at the same time safely?

Thanks David

Yes you can run both a suspension lift and a body lift. I ran that setup on my '97 Ranger.

The '95+ Ranger body lift kits come with bumper brackets to raise the bumpers. This makes the body lift less noticeable. Since the Ranger frame isn't that tall, the frame doesn't stick down much at all.

Yeah, you can run both.

Most guys do it to run larger tires, without cutting fenders while keeping their COG lower.

Any Ideas on what would be a good and inexpensive kit to go with? BL or SL. Anyone know where I can get the best price on either lift? Would it be a good idea to buy used?

you can check these out. there actually a superlift kit is what i was told and is complete with everything except ext. brake lines and sway bar brackets. ive talked to a few people thats actually bought the kit and theve been very happy with it. these kits are designed for mild off road trucks. hope this helps a little bit.

One more question? If I put on the BL what size tire can I put on? I don't mind if I get a little rubbing because I plan on putting either the suspension lift or a leveling kit.

Thanks.

Ordered my BL this morning. So now the fun begins with the rusted bolts..

You can run a 33" tire.
