I am modifying my '05 Ranger. I have opted for 4-1/2' Extreme Dimensions fender flares and a Lund hood scoop pair. I bought a "Performance Accessories" 3 inch lift kit from JC Whitney. I think I made a mistake. My guess is that 3 inches is a lot more than most people think it is and the proportions of the truck would be better off with about half that.... Any comments?

I now have 75R15 tires and don't think I can go much farther up in tire size because of wheel well limitations...
Whaddaya think?

You didn't say how big your tires are so not sure. I presume stock size? Put up a pic through photobucket, lets take a look at this.
Secondly, I don't think you made a mistake. If your truck is 4wd, they're arn't any other cheap but dependable solutions. Assuming your truck is 4wd....you can fit 33s no problem, and tuck 35's by cranking your T-bars.

Hope this helps. Def get us some pics.

Here was my truck after 3" Body lift on 235/75/15

First I think you gave an incomplete tire size.

Second, I think stick on hood scoops are about as gay as a wiener in your mouth.

Holy shit are they? J/k yea pretty gay since you can tell fake ones from real ones without trying...

What the cool part is.... is when they add so much horsepower that they come off on the freeway. The double sided tape it leaves behind is special too - plus it shows your opponent you're down a couple horsey's. I really like it when the scoops are not a matching set (i.e. two scoops intended for the left side).

PA makes body lifts. This is what you are putting on right? Your truck a 2wd or a 4x4? I never heard of Extreme Dimensions fender flares. Are these cut out flares? 4 1/2 is is pretty wide. I see a bunch of cars and trucks with the tape on scoops. Some painted to match don't look too bad at all. With the BL you can add a bit more taller tire size and you won't have to re-gear unless you go up a lot more in tire size. You keeping the stock tires and just want to adda bit of height to the truck for looks?
