Hey guys, im thinkin about getting a 3 inch lift on my 1999 ford ranger xlt 2wd 2.5 liter. I just dont really know where to start. Whats the best lift kit and whats a good lift to get. 3 inches? 4 inches? Also whats the installation going to cost? Thanks yall,

Michael

Go to the 2wd suspension area on this site. Lots of info and photos. You can decide what you like and see the prices that some of us have spent on tires and lifts.

Yeah, that's the kit everyone seems to like around here. Save some money and buy it here, though. Look up at the top right of this page, there is a blue bar labeled "Parts."

EDIT - WOW, the price here is almost $40 cheaper, same part number.

I always buy a PA kit. All of mine have come with the bumper bracket relocation kit to raise the bumpers up. The best on the market.
