Its comes down to either 2 in or 4 in sus lift. The pros of the 2in I can just go add a leaf, buy shocks, and upgrade coils. Not to mention over 200 hundred cheaper. Id put forth the extra effort for the 4 inch but my truck is my daily driver. I don't want to zap my trucks mpg by putn 31s under it. That's partially my question. I'm also running 235/75/r15's

have you considered a body lift, cheap, and you dont have to buy shocks, also i run a 4in. and only bought shocks for yhe rear,i purchased some shock extenders for the front it adds about 2in of travel i believe, but works fine on my truck

I've thought about it but to be honest I just don't like them. I've seen people get in their truck with body lift and the whole cab leans. Maybe its due to shotty work. But id rather have more cushion for offroadin'.

You will notice just about 0 diference in changing to 31s. If thats the biggest your gonna run that a 2 inch lift if plenty.

Why not just save up a bit longer and go for the 4" kit with radius arms...

If you want performance, you have to pay for it...

True, very true. Its just way to much unless I score something off craigslist. Its like 600 bucks for a 4in lift. I'm just looking to enjoy myself n not really go through mud holes or rock climbs. Just enough to handle a few logs and leaf filled gulleys. Really just to have a little fun. I can piece together a 2in lift for like 250.

Not even that much buy 2 inch lift shackles for 50 bucks or explorer leaf springs, and make your coil spacers out of washers for a couple of bucks or buy some f150 spring pearches.

That is some cool stuff you've found. I will deffinatly spread this around. Although I'm quite found of the offset or inbalance of the front to back. Someone even put overloaders on my truck for extra hauling. Our heat comes from wood in the wintertime.
