lift for the rear of my ranger

so when i added the bastered leaf packs i got for free they were made for a 3inch lift and were sagged a bit. ive heard of shackles that "lift" the rear, am i correct? how much do these things cose and how hards the install? i got a set of coil spacers for the front to level it out if i do this.

Belltech 6400 shackles will get you about 1.5-2" of lift. They usually run around $40-60 and a pretty easy to install. You could do it in less than an hour easily.

What sunk said...well...in theory. It IS an easy task on paper,... but mine was a nightmare...the bolts were almost welded in the leafs on both sides with rust...actually had to call my dad to come over and hold a punch while i smacked it with a sledgehammer untill it came out...took about 3 hrs total or so.

i had my rearend apart not that long ago. i used all new hardware and used anti-sieze while reinstalling them. it should be a bit easyer..i hope lol

you can get some lift shackles from pepboys the same size as the 6400 i think they are 39.99 they stock them on the shelf we just put some on my friends 04 ranger took about a hour. lifted it 2 inches.,

my coil spacers are gonna lift the front a inch and a half...so i only need a inch or a inch a half lift.....hmmm what to do?
