Hey i was wondering if anyone has or can get the dimensions off of a 4" skyjacker or james duff lift kit brackets. I want to build custom lift brackets but dont feel like having to engineer them! if anyone has a drawing or good sketches it would be awesome!!

lol well skyjacker has spent alot of money to design the brackets so that they work. now insteadof designingmy own and testing them by trial and error it would be easier and safer just to build a bracket similar to thiers and install it, seeing as how they have done alot of testing to ensure their design works. i would think re-creating it would be a fairly smart thing to do. My old man has a custom fab shop, so i'm gonna build the brackets there but i would like to have the dimensions rather than creating my own. if i have to I can but i would prefer not to.

well, you could always do what my professor told us to do in our machining class last year. Buy them, take the dimensions, and then send them back.

thats actually not a bad idea, that way i also know that the measurements are accurate. thanks for the suggestion and thank your machine shop proff!!

All of those reasons are why you have to pay for their products.....

+1, if you are going to "borrow" someone elses design then you can't really say it's a custom fab job, i would think that would be a custom copy:icon_confused:
