Lift blocks and coil spacers?

What do you guys think of using lift blocks and coil spacers for a 2" lift? not looking for any performance out of it. just looking to take the sad look off my truck.

What year is your truck? You may already have 2 in blocks in the rear.... Coil spacers work fine, and so does stacking washers, your camber will be positve (with TTB axle) so a lifetime alignment and maybe some bushings are a good idea....

1998 B2500. it doesn't come with any lift. i figured the 4x4 rangers come stock with 2" blocks for the rear so buying some at an autoparts store would work the same. I'm just wondering if there are any issues i should be worried about when using spacers or blocks.

i found some blocks at Autozone for $24.99 with U-bolts, and saw some online at O'Reilly's for $18.99.

not much of a difference but just enough... i don't know when i'll be lifting it but soon i hope. nothing fancy. i have 225/70-15 tires right now.. i want to put 235/75-15 on there with the same wheels

I would be wary of the blocks from autozone, they are cast aluminum, and not very heavy duty. Jcwhitney sells some better steel ones. Or go to a junkyard and snag some ranger ones.

Probably better off making yourself a body lift.
