I want to level my truck. It was recommended that I use the Daystar kit, but here is my problem with that. I think I might need new coils. Do they go bad? To me they look like they are compressed more than normal. Yes it is the Ranger described on the left.

i just replaced my coils today with SJ leveling coils. mine seemed to be sagging a lil when i took them out but i guess its up to you. i would say to go with the coils instead of spacers if you think your coils are getting tired. It wasn't that big of an ordeal and i didnt even have any air tools. The only other thing to think about is whether your going to put an extention on you shocks or buy new ones, i bought all 4 new from jc whitney for a lil more than 100.

Yeah, I'm putting new shocks on to. They look tired also. I was looking at the Skyjacker coils but they are just 1.5 inches of lift. The other ones I was looking at were the Trailmaster coils. They say 2 inches in the description or will they just be 1.5 inches also? Will the SJ coils give me a full 2 inch front lift? T don't know much about them.

well i measured from my front crossmember before and after the coils. i actually ended up with 2.5"s. my truck is just a regular cab so Its probly to do with the fact that i ordered the 132x, which is for an extended cab, instead of just the 132 coils. my shocks probly helped with the extra lift too. i kinda ordered the 132x's hoping for more than just the 1.5" most people say they got cause i plan on doing a brushguard with lights in the future
